A butterfly goes through different stages in life until it is fully grown. It is constantly changing, adapting to both internal and external changes, spreading seeds of color and joy along its way. This is the concept we would like to share with those who visit us, and the way of life that we wish to experience at La Farfalla. Constant movement. Co-evolution. A space of awareness for generating change.

Our proposal

The project consists of being ONE with the natural environment, an idea we would like to share with others. We believe in what we are doing, and have many plans at La Farfalla for those who would like to join us and be a part of them. The idea which set this project in motion is continuously expanding in order to give birth to a place where health, nutrition, movement and contact with nature converge. A space for the body, mind and soul to develop in harmony with the surroundings.

Our aim is to create a multicultural environment to provide people from all walks of life with a healthier and more natural existence and a chance to reflect on different perceptions of the world. An experience for all the senses!!

Main activities will involve workshops on Macrobiotic Cooking, Tai Chi, Chi Kung and Energy Techniques, as well as Natural Building, and the good use of energy and renewable resources. La Farfalla has an organic vegetable garden and an orchard where people are more than welcome to volunteer.

This is just the beginning of the project; we would like to broaden our scope by including workshops on movement and self expression. During this first stage, we’ve shared various activities such as Tibetan and Quartz Crystal Bowl Concerts; a nature walk in search of native plants; circular dancing; conferences on different foods, led by international guests; Nendo Dango, a natural way of sowing; and natural building.

New ideas and suggestions are always welcome!

We would like to create:

1. A kitchen/dining room for approximately 30/50 people, equipped for cooking classes.
2. An organic orchard and a vegetable garden to grow seasonal fruit and vegetables (on-going project).
3. A multipurpose room to be used for various activities such as Tai Chi, Yoga, Dancing and any other viable proposals related to the project.

4. Sleeping quarters where guests and their families may spend the night, or stay for a weekend or longer. The design of these rooms will be based on Feng Shui principles.
5. A camping area for those who would like to enjoy a more natural and economic option. de Tai Chi, Yoga, Danzas y otras propuestas que creamos viables y acordes al Proyecto.

La Farfalla is a space open to all, without dogma, creed or religion.

We would like to serve as a link between the Americas and the rest of the world, and to encourage people to think and act responsibly. We believe that there is a future in helping others to understand the importance of nature.

Our infinite gratitude goes to all those who have graciously offered to lend us a helping hand, either physically or economically. We need ideas, designs and physical assistance to build La Farfalla and will therefore offer lodgings to anyone willing to travel to Argentina in order to share this project with us.
